Iraq confirms its quest to establish better relations with its Arab brothers away from interfering in the affairs of others

Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said the visit of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to Kuwait is soon to discuss the outstanding issues between the two countries and to reach solutions to serve the interests of both peoples.

Zebari said during a speech at the ceremony held by the Embassy of Kuwait to Baghdad, on the occasion of festival of Independence, that Iraq had "sought to establish better relations with its Arab brothers, including the State of Kuwait and the policy pursued by Baghdad since the fall of Saddam's dictatorship, far from interfering in the affairs of others."

The Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq, to the insured had said in his speech at the ceremony, said Kuwait "put all its capabilities to serve the situation in Iraq, and the two countries possess the resources and economic power and a lot of the elements of economic integration and social and cultural development to be a model to live in peace and security."
