Director of the Association of private banks: The government ignores the private banks and are not supported by

Baghdad (news) .. Criticized the director of the Association of private banks Abdul Aziz al-Hassoun, the State's policy of ignoring the Iraqi private banks and their role in contributing to the process of economic development of the country.
He said Hassoun (of the Agency news) said on Monday: the federal government to support private banks, whether small or large with all what you need in order to encourage them to contribute to the development of the country's economy, noting that most of the functions of the world come to rely on private banks in the financing of economic activities in all sectors .
He added that the federal government ignores the role of private banks and private questioning their abilities to contribute to the effective process of development of the country, although they have the capacity to contribute, they have the financial assets large from which to finance all the economic projects, but they need to be encouraged by the government.
It is noteworthy that Iraq has seven banks owned by the state, and (23) private banks, eight Islamic banks in particular, while dominated by the banking sector, banks, Rafidain and Rasheed Aovernmaan, and are under way to restructure in order to pay off the debts that have accumulated after years of war and sanctions. / Finished / 8 . d.
