Iraq starts exporting oil from the new floating platform in the Gulf

Announced that the Southern Oil Company oil started to download from a floating platform in the Gulf long-awaited opening in a move that could raise the country's output significantly.

A source at the company in a press statement that the download process is moving normally and that the development pipeline and mooring buoy unilateral stable, no problems.

The source said that the average loading rate tanker Maersk Hirado was 22 thousand barrels per hour.

The opening of the new platform created by the Australian company Leighton has been postponed several weeks before the bad weather.
