Shahristani: Iraq is seeking to be a major industrial center in the Middle East

Baghdad (news) .. Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, Hussain al-Shahristani in his office this morning, with the Deputy Minister of Trade and Energy in South Korea, Jo Seok and his accompanying delegation, which included a number of major Korean companies, ways to strengthen economic relations between the two countries.
A statement from the Office of the al-Shahristani, has received the Agency (news) copy of it: that al-Shahristani said that Iraq is seeking to be the industrial center, a major in the Middle East through the strategic plans of building strategic industries such as iron, phosphate, fertilizers, transportation and agricultural machinery, calling for Korean companies to work in this area and the areas of building railways, ports, airports, communications, housing and health institutions.
The statement noted: that al-Shahristani said that Iraq has all the preparations for the provision of crude oil at the moment and liquid gas in the future to South Korea, especially after the recent increase in production, which amounted to (3) million barrels per day.
The statement said: The Korean official expressed his country's desire and the willingness of the true Korean companies to operate in Iraq in various fields including possesses the expertise of distinguished and ancient. / Finished / d. N /
