Iraq: The Preparatory Committee held a meeting today to agree on a sheet of the National Conference

Baghdad, April 4 (Rn) - The Preparatory Committee for the National Conference, Wednesday, it will hold its seventh meeting this evening to agree on a sheet of the National Conference to be held on Thursday at the invitation of President Jalal Talabani.


Preparatory Committee - Baghdad Said committee member Khalid al-Asadi told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "The Preparatory Committee ended in the late hours of last night's meeting to agree on paper the National Conference," noting that "all representatives of the Committee attended the meeting."

The Preparatory Commission consists of representatives of the three blocks is the President of the Kurdistan Alliance and the National Alliance and the Iraqi List.

The Iraqi List, has revealed earlier for non-participation in the meeting of the Preparatory Committee and the National Congress unless it is meeting the five demands and described as "basic."

He revealed the Kurdistan Alliance weekend for the adoption of the Kurdish leaders, especially President Jalal Talabani to efforts aimed at persuading the Iraqi List, go back on the decision to boycott meetings of the Preparatory Committee and the National Conference.

The al-Asadi, a leader of the coalition of state law that "the Committee agreed to hold another meeting this evening to complete the meeting yesterday," pointing out that "not in the interest of any political bloc not to attend the national meeting."

The political crisis erupted between coalition and Iraqi rule of law against the backdrop of the issuance of an arrest warrant for Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi, a leader in the Iraqi List, for his support of "terrorism" which was rejected by the latter, who described the judiciary as "politically motivated".
