The leader of the National Almatnmr Ahmad Chalabi said he told Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's refusal to assume the post of Head of government: "During a meeting with Maliki was recently told him that I am trying to get to the post of Prime Minister."
He accused the deputies of the coalition of "state law" Congress leader and member of the "National Alliance" which leads the government, Ahmed Chalabi, as Maliki seeks to remove from office, on the back of his participation in the meeting of Najaf on Saturday.

He said Chalabi, he attended a meeting of Najaf in response to an invitation from the leader of the Sadrist cleric Muqtada al-Sadr called on the government to meet the demands of the citizens to ensure its future: "We are not like the ostrich putting our heads in the sand and ignore the diagnosis of the failure of government and the duty of politicians to address the mistakes to prove the reality of national interests" , indicating that maintaining the current government is linked to Bhakik three goals: "promoting Iraq and make it in the ranks of developed countries, and improve the standard of living for citizens to enjoy their wealth, and the fight against corruption through real action."
