A statement issued by the Information Office of the President of the House of Representatives Osama Najafi and quoted (and independent Iraqi news agency) that "Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki visited Najafi in his private office in Baghdad with a delegation of the National Alliance, and offered their condolences and sympathy."
The statement quoted Najafi thanks and gratitude "for Maliki and his accompanying delegation on the sincerity of their feelings sincere and fraternal solidarity."
