The adviser said the prime minister for Energy, Hussain al-Shahristani said Iraq's production of crude oil now stands at three million and two hundred thousand barrels per day, which is higher than the rate at which is produced by countries such as Iran and the UAE and Kuwait.
Shahristani said in a press statement today that Iraq is now the second largest crude oil producer among the Member States of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.
