BAGHDAD / obelisk: Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Rose Nuri Shaways, Tuesday, that the Iraqi economy is moving towards the adoption of an open market economy and decentralization, called on companies and German businessmen to enter into investment opportunities in Iraq.
The Shaways, in a speech during the opening of the meetings of the Iraqi-German Joint Committee in Berlin, attended by "obelisk", "The Iraqi state is heading towards the liberalization of the Iraqi economy from the grip of the central state administration and the trend towards decentralization and spatial development support."
He added that "to go to a free market economy and the creation of a partnership wider between the public and private sectors of the necessities of economic transformation," pointing out that "Iraq calls companies and German businessmen to enter into the investment opportunities available in Baghdad and other provinces and the various sectors."
Noteworthy that the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Rose Nuri Shaways headed the Iraqi delegation at the meetings of the Iraqi-German Joint Committee, established in the German capital Berlin, the delegation includes Minister of Finance and Transport and representatives from a number of ministries and Iraqi businessmen.
